A usability test is done with real users of your product. It
is a formal evaluation process, and recommendations are made based
on the results.
pre-evaluation - We talk
to you about your product and your target users to establish the
profile of the users to be recruited (eg. experience with internet,
experience of your product, age...etc)
recruitment of target users - We
recruit your target users (6 to 8 people) using our own database,
a market research recruitment company or a list of users provided
by you.
test process - We create the
test materials, and prepare a test location. Participants are
asked to complete a series of tasks, and we observe your users
performing the tasks and record the problems they face. At the
end of the session, we interview participants to get subjective
feelings about the product and suggestions for improvement.
analising and reporting - We
analyse test observations and data, and provide you with a report
and our suggested solutions. We present the results and discuss
with you and your team at your offices.
